International House, an historic residence and program center in New York City dedicated to promoting cross-cultural exchange and leadership annually between 700+ graduate students from 100+ countries, is hosting a panel discussion on the current situation in Venezuela. This student-led event, “What Is Happening in Venezuela?” will be an open discussion with Boris Muñoz, author and Opinion Editor for the New York Times en Español; Angelina Jaffe, Professor in International Law and Human Rights and Designated Luxembourg Ambassador; and Juan González, Richard D. Heffner Professor of Communications and Public Policy at Rutgers University and co-host of Democracy Now! There will be a 20-minute Q&A session with the audience. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and pre-registration is required.
